B/E Aerospace’s Fenwick, West Virginia facility specializes in the design and manufacture of Aircraft De-icing equipment and Specialty Products. We provide expert support for reinforced fabric composites, highly engineered injection molded plastics and specialty vulcanized polymer products. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a General Accountant and a Buyer Planner located in Fenwick, West Virginia.
General Accountant Job Summary
Follow established procedures; perform detailed accounting requiring a basic knowledge of accounting theory and principles. Provide specialized or general analysis support in various accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Property Accounting, General Accounting and the like. Review and analyze journal vouchers, accounting classifications and other accounting/financial statements, records and reports. Assist management in a variety of accounting assignments such as: taking trial balances, making adjustments and closing entries, preparing profit and loss statements, inventory, receipts and disbursements, balance sheets, computing and distributing labor, material and overhead costs. Requirements include: B.S. from a four-year college or university. One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Buyer/Planner Job Summary
Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures. Optimize price, delivery, and terms. Investigate and identify qualified suppliers, issue requests for quotations and evaluate vendor reliability. Determine method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid. Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance and inventories. Plan and issue schedules and material requirements. Provide input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, backlogs, and the like. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and minimum two years related experience.
