FMRS has a Children’s Mobile Crisis Specialist position open, located in Raleigh County. The Children’s Mobile Crisis Specialist will participate on the Mobile Crisis Response Team for Raleigh County. The Crisis Specialist is required to have at least a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and a valid WV driver’s license. Experience working with children and families is preferred. The Crisis Specialist will be expected to assess and respond to children and families in the community who are experiencing behavioral health crisis. The Crisis Specialist will be an integral member of FMRS’ children’s services; sharing the mission of serving children within their homes and community.

REGIONAL YOUTH RECOVERY SPECIALIST (RYRS)
The Regional Youth Recovery Specialist will be relevant to the youth population we serve by way of lived experience. The RYRS will provide peer mentoring for youth diagnosed with a behavioral health condition, support development of SADD chapters and other youth support groups across Region 6, participate as a key member of the Regional Youth Service Center providing the team with the youth perspective, and provide recovery support via facilitation of evidence based models. While a BA level staff would be preferred, a high school level individual with excellent communication skills will be seriously considered. The RYRS will be expected to complete certification as a recovery coach. (Individuals seeking this position will be expected to relate their lived experience in their cover letter.)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED with excellent communication skills, Bachelor’s preferred
• Prefer experience with children / adolescents
• Expected to complete certification as a recovery coach
• Possess a valid WV driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
