The Thrasher Group is seeking the following full-time positions in our Beaver , WV Office:
SURVEY PARTY CHIEF
The selected individual will be responsible for field crew(s) as well as the operation of survey equipment, taking data collection, performing calculations and working with clients on projects. Experience in ALTA, Construction Stakeout and Boundary Surveys is highly desired. Qualifications: • 1 Year of experience in surveying • High School Diploma or its equivalent • Experience with Trimble Survey Equipment is highly desired • The ability to travel with the potential of being away from home. • The ability to stand or walk over rugged terrain for an extended period of time. • The ability to work in a variety of climate conditions including hot and cold weather is required.
SURVEY TECHNICIAN
Working under the direction of the Survey Crew Chief, the Survey Technician will assist with various types of land surveying & mapping including ALTA & Boundary Surveys, Construction Stakeouts for various types of projects for both private & public clientele. Qualifications: • A high school diploma or its equivalent • Previous experience as a survey technician is highly desired but is not required. • The ability to work in a variety of climate conditions including hot and cold weather • The ability to travel with the potential of being away from home. • Position requires the ability to carry approximately 25 pounds of survey equipment and the ability to stand or walk over rugged terrain for extended periods of time
