This position will provide repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration controls and equipment. This position pays from $15.12/hr to $22.69/hr and the amount is dependent upon related experience and education. In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will: b Repair, rebuild, overhaul and maintain refrigeration and chiller systems, such as crew chillers, centrifugal chillers, reciprocating chillers and steam absorption machines. b Utilize test equipment for proper diagnosis of failed mechanical systems. b Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and install components associated with compressor replacement and installation for cooling units up to several hundred tons capacity. b Troubleshoot, maintain and repair cooling towers, condensers and associated controls to maintain proper temperature, capacity and flow. b Maintain and install building control systems using pneumatic and electrical controls. b Perform multi-trade building maintenance in the skills of plumbing, electrical and mechanical.
