Purchasing Manager
Position will be located at the Buffalo Energy Division in Man, WV. Responsibilities for the position include, but not limited to:
• Purchase and expedite materials, components, equipment, and services from a variety of sources.
• Resolve price variances between quoted and invoiced amounts.
• Initiate bid/quote process for vendor materials, services, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare bid documents and oversee the bid process; perform bid analysis and make recommendations regarding purchases.
• Interact with vendors, operations and/or warehouse staff to ensure effective methods of inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Maintain communications with Corporate Purchasing regarding operational procurement issues.
Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in purchasing and warehouse management and be proficient in Microsoft Office. SAP experience preferred.
