GMS is accepting applications for an
experienced Human Resources Recruiter
to work in our Charleston/Beckley location.
The Human Resources Recruiter’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Recruit, interview and screen applicants based on experience inside and out of the coal mining industry. • Coordinate with other members of the Southern WV and Specialty teams, as well as the GMS HR team on our customer’s personnel needs, training, job fairs/hiring events to hold and attend, community outreach, etc. • Assist in gathering and tracking data for uniform orders, insurance, training refreshers, drug screens, back ground checks, new and old applications as well as maintaining a current pool of candidates that are available. • Be willing and able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment alongside varying management levels as well display a proven ability to stay detail oriented, to multi-task and then prioritize various tasks. • Travel throughout the Southern region locations to interview and hire applicants, as well as occasional help in other regions of the company.
Education and experience:
• Position requires an Associate’s degree in a related or equivalent experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. • Candidate must have at least two years of experience in Human Resources or a related field. • Candidate must be able to pass background and drug test.
